Position: Warehouse Operation Manager (Italian Bilingual Preferred)
Duties and responsibilities:
- Management
Manages 4 individuals (two Parts Sales Representative, Shipping/Receiving Clerk, Logistic and Purchasing Coordinator) within the department to insure adherence to company policies and procedures
Establishes departmental and individual goals and objectives and holds employees accountable for performance.
Ensures that all department employees are team players and are providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. - Purchase orders
Managing spare parts purchasing
Controlling the issuance of purchase orders, reviewing P.O.’s for accuracy, completeness
Insuring vendors performance and timely delivery or parts and supplies.
Monitoring and insuring expedition of backorders to meet in house project and external customer needs - Inventory
Responsible for maintaining economic levels of inventory satisfactory to meet market demand
Establishing mins and maxes for inventory parts.
Organizes and insures completion of 2 cycle counts per year - Sourcing Parts
Sourcing suppliers for best quality, value, availability and overall performance
Compare the cost & negotiate price with vendors - Shipping and receiving
Warehouse shipping and receiving
Cleanliness of office and warehouse
Space utilization and warehouse layout - Asset Management
Manage Automatic Vertical Storage System (Modula)
Load/Unload work orders
Oversee warranty and return goods
Coordinating with office to insure timely credit for returns and warranty - Sales
Help dealers and customers with technical issues via phone, computer or in person
Travel when needed to perform field training (no more than 10% travel)
Customer Service - Safety
Enforce safety procedures and promote safe practices within the department - Training
Responsible for departmental personnel training
Responsible for staff training as it relates to department interface and new employee indoctrination.
Applicant will report directly to and work closely with CEO and General Manager in order to gain knowledge of FAE machines and attachments in order to provide customer service and technical assistance to FAE dealers and customers. Job duties for this position are not limited to the ones listed above and change periodically which applicant must agree to in advance to accepting job.
Skills and knowledge:
- This is a highly technical job so the right candidate will be hands on expert in the mechanical industry

- Exceptional computer skills, particular with Excel and Inventory Control Systems
- Experience with inventory audits, cycle counts
