Last week, The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the Italy America Chamber of Commerce Southeast (IACCSE) – Georgia Chapter signed a Memorandum of Understanding a to boost potential relationships and business opportunities among the members of the two Chambers.
Established in 1947 the Gwinnett Chamber serves more than 2,200 members throughout metro Atlanta and Gwinnett County by delivering programs that strengthen and connect businesses locally, regionally and globally. Several Italian manufacturing companies are located in this county.
The agreement establishes a partnership aimed to achieve several purposes including the promotion of joint events, exchange of relevant news and information.
In addition, the two Chambers will encourage and promote exchanges of visits by delegations and business people of the two party’s regions and extend cooperation and assistance to the visitors.
The agreement will stimulate the collaboration between the two Chambers to best serve their members and the diverse community. The MOU event was attended by the Board Director of the Gwinnett Chamber and signed by the Chairman Doug Jenkins and Nicholas “Nick” F. Masino, President & Chief Executive Officer, and for the IACCSE the Vice President of the Georgia Chapter Eugenio Fumo and the Honorary Consul of Italy in Atlanta Mr. Filiberto Calascibetta.
